Product Management

We’re excited to add a Product Management to our fast-growing marketing team. Market research is a critical component in helping Nectir understand our audience and grow our business.

This is an extremely flexible role that allows for creative freedom and tangible results to add to your resume/portfolio. You will be working directly with the Co-Founders of the company and gain hands-on experience with building a startup. This is an unpaid, part-time role with 10-15 hours expected each week, for hire beginning early to mid-June.

In all, this is a unique opportunity for a flexible and self-motivated team player with a strong skill set and interest for market research to join a young, but fast-growing, company.

Responsibilities:

  • Research and report on product strategy through ongoing market validation
  • Conduct user interviews, utilizing data to contribute to decisions on product features
  • Research the educational technology market and stay up-to-date on opportunities for competitions, special events, or conferences for Nectir to attend, e.g. Curiosity Conference
  • Contribute and attend to other ad hoc assignments and events with Co-Founders, when necessary

Requirements:

  • Reside in the Santa Barbara or Goleta area
  • Solution and team oriented while demonstrating the ability to work independently
  • Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
