Nectir Raises $12.5M Led by Rethink Impact

Nectir raised $12.5 million in Series A funding, led by Rethink Impact and with participation from Gingerbread Capital, Strada, and existing investors, to scale its secure, purpose-built AI infrastructure for higher education. Nectir's platform lets institutions deploy custom, FERPA-compliant, SOC 2 Type II-certified AI Assistants that support students, faculty, and administrators. Nectir already supports roughly 150,000 students across more than 130 institutions, and the recent partnership with California Community Colleges brings that support within reach of up to 2.2 million more students. Nectir’s CEO Kavitta Ghai stated, "We are architecting solutions for the 30-million-student reality."
