Subprocessors

About This List

A sub-processor is a third party that processes personal data on Nectir's behalf in the course of providing the Nectir AI service to an institution. Nectir uses sub-processors for infrastructure, AI model inference, product analytics, and customer support, so that the service can be delivered securely and at scale rather than rebuilt from first principles.

This document lists every sub-processor currently authorized to process customer and end-user personal data, the data services each one performs, and where that processing takes place. It is maintained by Nectir's Security and Compliance function and is republished whenever a sub-processor is added, retired, or materially changed.

Each sub-processor is named by its contracting legal entity rather than by its brand, so that the party named here is the party a customer can find in an agreement. Where the familiar product name differs, it appears in parentheses.

• Amazon Web Services, Inc. (USA): AI model inference through Amazon Bedrock
• Braintrust Data, Inc. (USA): AI observability and quality evaluation
• Cloudflare, Inc. (Global): Content delivery, web application firewall, DDoS protection and DNS; object storage for course materials and conversations; edge compute on behalf of the AI
• Google LLC (USA): Cloud hosting, storage and database; AI model inference on user prompts (Gemini and Claude, via Vertex AI); authentication; support email
• HubSpot, Inc. (USA): Customer support help desk
• Intercom, Inc. (USA): Retention of historical customer support conversations
• Microsoft Corporation (USA): AI model inference on user prompts (OpenAI models, via Azure OpenAI); document processing of uploaded files (Azure Document Intelligence); single sign-on
• Neon, LLC (USA): Managed PostgreSQL database hosting for the Nectir AI platform (a Databricks, Inc. company)
• PostHog, Inc. (USA): Product analytics and service usage measurement
• Resend, Inc. (USA): Transactional email delivery
• SideGuide Technologies, Inc. (USA): Web search performed on behalf of the AI (Firecrawl)
• Slack Technologies, LLC (USA): Internal operational alerting
• Temporal Technologies Inc. (USA): Background workflow orchestration
• Vercel Inc. (USA): Application hosting and compute, file storage, network security, observability, and AI model request routing for the Nectir AI platform
• We Are Jam, Inc. (USA): Customer-initiated screen recordings during support (Jam.dev)

Updates and Objections

Nectir maintains this list and republishes it when a sub-processor is added, retired, or materially changed. Customers are notified of changes, and the notice and objection terms that apply are those in the customer's own agreement with Nectir rather than any period stated here.
