The story
The priorities
Support teachers and give every student a consistent experience
Kennedy Catholic launched Nectir AI in the spring as its first AI platform. Leadership wanted teachers to feel supported and every student to have the same high-quality experience.
The approach
A school-branded “Gael Guide” in every class
With hands-on support from the Nectir team, staff and faculty built Assistants to serve as tutors and branded them “Gael Guides,” after how students refer to themselves. They rolled out across every class at once, from core subjects to electives and theology.
The results
Fast adoption, even mid-semester
More than 60% of students used their Gael Guide within five days, growing to almost 80% within 15 weeks. Students most often use it to generate quizzes and practice tests and to get concepts explained further.
The same guardrails in every class
- Ask guiding questions
- Never give the answer
- Promote independent thinking
Every Gael Guide follows these rules, so students get tutoring support, not shortcuts.
What students see
- Generates quizzes and practice tests from class materials
- Explains concepts further, step by step
- Branded for the school, with a name students recognize

Launch in weeks, not terms.
